tonks is introduced as this badass auror trained by freakin mad-eye moody in the beginning of the 5th book
she spends the remainder of the 5th book being goofy and silly (which is fine, mind you)
but then we have so little of her actually getting to show what a badass motherfucker she is
so reading the 6th book i was so pumped YEAH TONKS GO REVENGE SIRIUS' DEATH GO SLAY VOLDEMORT
and she spends the entire 6th book moping and crying about how some dude rejected her like i get it love hurts but come on you're so much cooler than that
then in the 7th book she gets pregnant, has her baby, lupin leaves her but comes back to her (i hope she kicked the shit out of his werewolf ass) and then she DIES
